The restaurant is looking for professionals in hospitality industry with proven experience. The recent job openings are for 3 positions including an Executive chef, Chef and Waitress. For all these roles, some basic requirements are necessary.
To get employed as an executive chef, the candidate must have a minimum working experience of 5-8 years as a Head chef in any star category. They require a BS degree in culinary science or any related certificate as the basic education. Candidates who can work closely with the kitchen and have an excellent track record of kitchen management are mostly preferred. As an executive chef, the candidates are required to update and keep up with the latest cooking trends and practices. They must have good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Candidates who are looking for the role of Chef must have proven work experience in the field and those with minimum 6 years of experience in hospitality industry, especially in catering are preferred. They must have practical experience with different kitchen equipment and have advanced knowledge on culinary, baking and pastry techniques. Similarly it is preferable that those who have certifications or diploma in culinary arts are preferred to join the team.
For the waitress position, the candidates must have strong organisation, communication, presentation and multi-tasking skills. Preferably those with great work experience as a waitress and are customer-driven are welcomed. Candidates who have experience with cash register and ordering information system are needed and must be able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Candidates who meet the required basic qualifications can attend the interview. They must come to the interview with their CV and other relevant documents.
